Remember when dividing fractions:

dividend / divisor = quotient

1.  Convert the whole numbers to improper fractions 3 = 3/1

2.  Then, keep the dividend the same

3.  Change division to multiplication

4.  Change the divisor to its reciprocal by flipping the numbers

5.  Multiply numerators with numerators across

6.  Multiply denominators with denominators across

7.  Simplify improper fractions or simplify fractions to lowest terms

Reading - read independently 30-45 minutes

 

 

Parents, ClassDojo sign up papers were handed out today and will start on Monday 8/27

Students will all receive 5 points at the beginning of each day.  Points will be deducted for areas that they struggled with that day.  At the end of each school day, you can see if they had a great day or need to work on something.

 

STAR Reading levels were given today.  Students reading level for AR goals is the ZPD.  I would prefer if they stick with their IRL level, but ZPD levels are allowed for Honor Roll.
