Recycling for Japan

Thanks to the collective efforts of students, parents, and staff members. The community of Oswalt Academy recycled over $900 in bottles and cans during the 2010-2011 school year. Mrs. Paerels, IB Coordinator, supervised students as they collected recyclables from classrooms and designated recycle bin locations on campus. Together, Mrs. Paerels and Mrs.Ogawa, Kindergarten teacher, took the bottles and cans every Friday to a local recycling center.

The $900 collected from recycling was donated to the Red Cross to help aid the people of Japan.

This year Oswalt's recycling efforts continue as newly name IB World School pulls together to take action and make a difference in our world!
