The state writing test for 4th and 7th grade. This is an official CST Test

If you have a 4th grader or 7th grader, please make sure they get to bed early and have a good breakfast. This is their chance to shine as a writer. If you would like to prep your child, ask them what their teacher has been reviewing with them.

It is expected that 4th and 7th graders can write a 5 paragraph essay. It may be a good idea to take some of your students work out and review their writing. Ask them to read their work aloud. Read it aloud to them. Go and make corrections until the writing makes good sense.

Review needs of your child

1) Good Rest

2) Good Breakfast

3) Onto school on time

4) Positive reenforcement "You will do well today I just know it."
