Since 1994, millions of dollars have been raised in pennies and other spare change by more than 10 million elementary, middle and high school students throughout the country. This year, Oswalt's ASB organized a Pennies for Patients drive to help raise funds collected during a three-week period to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Upper grade students in 4th-8th grade had a box placed in each classroom where students could donate their pennies, coins, and even cash. Primary students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade were each given a personal box to donate money and return to school.
Together Oswalt Academy students raised $2561.50 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Thank you for your continued support as our students reach out to others and help make a positive impact in our world!
